Electrical Engineer

Galadyne is developing next-generation missile systems built around liquid propulsion and vertically integrated manufacturing. We're seeking an Electrical Engineer who can work across the electrical stack to design, build, test, and iterate on complex electrical systems for our ground systems, including Outpost, Galadyne's containerized launch system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, and test of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems including data acquisition and control, power distribution, and harness manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, fluid, software, manufacturing) to see products through early prototyping to high-volume production at scale.
  • Work side-by-side with technicians to build the systems you design, and spend time in the field testing, debugging, and servicing these systems.
  • Perform in-depth analysis (short circuit / fault analysis, protective device coordination), produce clear documentation (one-line drawings, schematics), and model systems in CAD.
  • Design systems and select components that meet military specifications, safety standards, and can withstand rugged environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing electrical systems from prototype to production scale in aerospace, defense, automotive, maritime, or similar industries.
  • Background in designing systems for high-volume, automated manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies, and hands-on skills including soldering, crimping connectors, and building harnesses.
  • Experience working with industrial PLCs including Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, NI, or other ecosystems.
  • Proficiency with NX or similar CAD software.
  • As a plus, experience designing PCBAs, battery systems, or mobile / containerized systems.

This is a zero-to-one role with real technical ownership and meaningful purpose. Join us in rebuilding missile systems for real production scale.
